With the start of Prodigy just weeks away Paramount+ and Nickelodeon have been ramping up their promotional efforts for the series, with new clips, trailers, and artwork revealing new details about the characters, and the latest announcement revealing the existence of more Starfleet characters in the series. Oh and they built a real world version of the USS Protostar bridge! Continue below for a round-up of all the latest.
First up check out this awesome clip of holographic Janeway introducing herself to the young crew of the USS Protostar:
That clip is from the first episode of the series, titled Lost & Found, which we also have a description for now:
A group of lawless teens, exiled on a mining colony outside Federation space, discover a derelict Starfleet ship. Dal must gather an unlikely crew for their newfound ship if they are going to escape Tars Lamora, but the Diviner and his daughter Gwyn have other plans.
It turns out Janeway will not be the only member of Starfleet in the series, as Paramount+ have now announced what seems like an entire Starfleet crew (hopefully not the no-longer-around ones who should be on the Protostar!) with no less than Captain Chakotay in the lead, voiced of course by Robert Beltran. He will be joined by Daveed Diggs as Commander Tysess, Jameela Jamil as Ensign Asencia, and Jason Alexander as Doctor Noum. Exactly how these Starfleet characters will show up has yet to be revealed - Remember, this series is set in the Delta Quadrant after Voyager has returned home already.
Nickelodeon have also released a new trailer for the series; featuring a few new clips alongside bits we've seen before:
Among the visitors were many of the cast and crew from the series, pictured here with no less than Captain Janeway herself in the captain's chair:Prodigy will launch later this month on Paramount+(ad) for viewers in the US, Latin America, Australia and Nordic countries. In Canada it will be available on Bell Media services. It remains unknown where viewers anywhere else in the world can watch it; Paramount+ will be launching in additional European countries early in 2022 though, so while it has yet to be confirmed, it feels likely many European viewers are going to have to wait for that.

And there are these character promo images:
A series of character promo videos has also begun to fill in some more details for our heroes. So far these cover Captain Dal, and Communications Officer Gwyn:
Finally, at the New York Comic Con this weekend Prodigy went big; lifesize in fact, with a partial real world creation of the bridge of the USS Protostar open to visitors:
