First up, here's the new reference packed season two trailer (also up on StarTrek.com if you prefer to Instagram video)
There's also a more behind the scenes focused season preview (again up on StarTrek.com too)
And this new Captain Freeman focused preview clip:
Part of The Ready Room, but also posted separately, here's a look at an animatics sequence from last week's Strange Energies:
There's also an Easter Eggs video, although it only really looks at one reference which was so central to the episode I'd hardly call it an Easter Egg! (Also viewable on StarTrek.com)
Tendi's social media selfies, which were posted for every season one episode, are back, this time recording a special moment with Rutherford!
Finally, Titmouse Stuff's weekly Shirt Collective series has resumed, with the first design in the run appropriately featuring god Ransom. A new episode specific design will be available each week of the season.
Lower Decks can be found on Paramount+(ad) in the US and Latin America, Bell Media services in Canada, and Amazon Prime Video(ad) most of everywhere else in the world. The first season is also available on bluray(ad). For more Lower Decks coverage check back through my Lower Decks tag.
Episode two introduces us to Kayshon the new Tamarian security officer, and the episode is named in his honour, Kayshon, His Eyes Open. Here's the blurb for the episode a load of preview images:
Our Lower Deckers have trouble bonding with Ensign Jet Manhaver, who has been assigned Boimler's bunk and shift duties. Meanwhile, we get a glimpse of Boimler's life on the U.S.S. Titan, which is more intense than he thought it would be.
Many of the preview images focus on Keyshon and his mission with the lower deckers:
There's also some more Titan action, and a chance to get to know more of the crew:
To reflect on the start of the season there's been a new episode of The Ready Room, taking us behind the scenes with all the lower deckers, Tawny Newsome, Jack Quaid, Noël Wells, and Eugene Cordero, along to chat with Will Wheaton. There's also a preview clip for this week's episode at the end. Alas like the first season there won't be weekly Ready Room episodes for Lower Decks, but they did promise an end of season one. (also viewable on StarTrek.com and Facebook)
There's load more fun social media content that's been posted following the start of the season, including this glorious psychedelic episode poster!
And getting more episode specific again, the latest Star Trek Logs entry has Ransom reflecting on his time as a god:
Tendi's social media selfies, which were posted for every season one episode, are back, this time recording a special moment with Rutherford!
And a huge number of episode stills have also been released, focused mainly on the mad imagery of god-Ransom!
