Eaglemoss starships previews next special, XL, STO ships and more

There's been a run of news from Eaglemoss' starships collections of late, but this latest update brings the welcome return of new ships from the the original range. Continue below to check out the latest special issue, XL issue, STO ships, more updates from new Universe series, and Build the Enterprise-D too!

First up, TrekCore have released some early previews for expected June releases. That includes the latest oversized special issue(ad) in the original Official Starships Collection, and the latest in the growing collection of space station models: Relay Station 47, from the TNG episode Aquiel

In-universe this is much smaller than previous starbase models, but being a bigger model, as a special, will no doubt help make the spindly details of this model it a little less fragile than they might otherwise have been - None the less I find this quite a surprisingly obscure choice when we've yet to see far more prominent stations, such as the Caretaker's Array, the Midas Array, various spacedocks, Starbase Yorktown, etc.

Also announced by TrekCore is the latest in the XL series(ad), and a very welcome addition to that oversized range, the Nebula class; specifically the USS Bonchune from Voyager's Message in a Bottle.

One more fresh reveal from TrekCore is the fifteenth issue in the Star Trek Online starships collection(ad), the USS Enterprise-F; specifically this is the Yorktown class refit version of the ship, which will distinguish it from the two previous Enterprise-F models(ad) Eaglemoss has already released.

In other STO news, the latest issue in that series, the Klingon IKS Mat'ha(ad) previews a new ship coming soon on its packaging, the Tholian Recluse class carrier - This will be a welcome very different ship for the range; I look forward to seeing the model! The newest series is the Star Trek Universe collection(ad), which is kicking off with several Picard ships. Eaglemoss have now released videos previewing the first four issues: La Sirena(ad), USS Zheng He(ad), the refit Romulan Bird of Prey(ad), and Seven of Nine's Fenris Ranger ship.

They've also now released the magazine cover for Seven's ship too:

Looking to the much larger Build the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D series(ad), Eaglemoss have now made the Enterprise-D pins offered as a subscription bonus with that collection available separately on their webshop(ad).

According to Eaglemoss Customer Service, individual issues of the series will not be offered on the webshop however; so if you'd like to build the Enterprise subscribing(ad) is how you'll have to do it (but it's not like it's a series you'd only want to pick up selectively anyway!)

If you're curious what's involved, YouTuber World of Wayne has posted a couple of videos going into great detail on what's in the first couple of issues and the insanely intricate building process - As a leisurely hobby to gradually build the ship over time, I can kind of see the appeal. Check it out:

To get hold of the latest ships, you can subscribe to the Star Trek Universe collection in the US(ad)UK(ad)Germany(ad), and other parts of Europe(ad). And the same for the Build the USS Enterprise-D Collection in the US(ad)UK(ad), and Europe(ad)

Alternatively look for individual releases via the Eaglemoss' web-shop in the US(ad) and the UK. For discounted pre-orders, check Things For Another World(ad) too, who normally offer a 20% pre-order discount.
