Discovery round-up: There Is a Tide... previews, and loads of season 3 behind the scenes photos

This week brings us the penultimate episode of Discovery season 3, There Is a Tide.... As ever CBS have released previews in the form of a trailer and images from the episode. There's also lots of new behind the scenes content from across the season that's popped up in the last week, so continue below to check out all that, and other Disco updates.

Here's the blurb and trailer for the episode (which you can also watch on StarTrek.com if you prefer):
After capturing the U.S.S. Discovery, Osyraa seeks a meeting with Admiral Vance while Burnham and the crew must overcome unimaginable odds as they attempt to regain command of their ship.

And here are this week's preview images. A bunch of Book and Burnham images:

And a few of various crew members on the Discovery:

As usual there's also a preview clip from the episode at the end of last week's The Ready Room. That otherwise explores last week's episode Su'Kal, with a behind the scenes featurette on the episode, and , double interview segments with Doug Jones (Saru) and Janet Kidder (Osyraa). You can also watch this on StarTrek.com, YouTube, or Facebook, if you prefer to Instagram below.

Behind the scenes from the episode continues with CBS's usual drop of photos from the shoot.

We can get a further look at the impressive set from the episode executive producer Anne Cofell Saunders, who shared these photos:

An actor who played "smiling Starfleet lieutenant holo", Nelu Handa also gave a little behind the scenes look at her character, giving us a nice look at her retro Starfleet uniform.

As did Wilson Cruz, sharing his Bajoran look (suits him!)

Motion graphics artist Timothy Peel also took behind the scenes of the episode with a closer look at his work on the Verubin Nebula and the dilithium planet:

Taking us back presumably earlier in the production, Noah Averbach-Katz, who plays Ryn the Andorian, shared these loving moments with Doug Jones as Saru:

Averbach-Katz also just happen to be married to Mary Wiseman, and shared this menacing animation of Captain Killy too!

Also taking us back to the mirror universe recently was Airiam actor Hannah Cheesman, who shared a whole bunch of on set fun with her mirror cast-mates from the recent mirror episodes:

Another returning mirror-crew-member, Rekha Sharma (aka Landry), also shared a quite moment from the mirror filming:

Taking us a little further back in the season, costume designer Ciara Brennan shared this artwork for T'Rina costume from Unification III:

Back to last week, the latest of the Logs from Instagram is Michael Burnham celebrating solving The Burn:

And finally, here the usual assortment of additional images from last week's episode. That includes a bunch looking at the species-swapping of Saru and Culber:

And some more action on the bridge:

Alongside previous seasons, the series can be found on CBS All Access(ad) in the US, and Bell Media services in Canada, and Netflix in almost all of the rest of the world (barring a few countries where Netflix doesn't work).
