Discovery round-up: 3x08 The Sanctuary previews, plus latest behind the scenes, travel poster, and more

This week brings us episode eight of Discovery season three, The Sanctuary. CBS have releases lots of images to preview it, plus a trailer. Continue below to check out those, plus a round up of all the latest Disco bits, including behind the scenes photos, a new travel poster, the latest Log entry, and more.

First up, here's the blurb and trailer for the new episode (trailer also on StarTrek.com if you prefer):

Burnham and the U.S.S. Discovery crew travel to Book’s home planet to help rescue it from Osyraa, the formidable leader of the Emerald Chain. Meanwhile, Stamets and Adira continue their search for valuable information on the origin of the Burn.

There are lots of preview images for this new episode, although they don't give us many clues of what's to come, other than a trip to the forest:

As ever, there is a clip from the new episode, the Georgiou and Culber scene, at the end of last week's episode of The Ready Room. That otherwise is devoted to a long interview with Sonequa Martin-Green, plus featurettes on Ni'Var, and new costumes from this season. CBS have also released a couple of behind the scenes images from last week's Unification III:

Plus this set of images showing writer Kirsten Beyer and actor Michelle Yeoh on set, although I think these might be behind the scenes from this week's The Sanctuary already, as Georgiou's costume matches for the images and clip above.

From Unification III, actor Tara Green Rosling shared a couple of images of herself as President T'Rina:

And Emmanuel Kabongo also shared some images of his time as V'Kir, plus a look at the costume concept art for the character:

David Ajala has also shared a couple more moments from his time on set, including this fun one with TWO Grudges!
