Discovery 3x03 People of Earth previews, and other Disco updates

This week's episode of Discovery is People of Earth, as ever CBS have released an assortment of images and previews for the episode. There's also lots of updates around last week's episode, including behind the scenes photos, and the latest of the new social media logs. Continue below to check out all the Disco latest.

To start, here's the blurb, and trailer (also on StarTrek.com if you can't view on YouTube), for the new episode
Finally reunited, Burnham and the U.S.S. Discovery crew journey to Earth, eager to learn what happened to the Federation in their absence.

And here are lots of images, which broadly seem to cover three moments in the episode. We have the introduction of the new character Adira, played by Blu del Barrio, and in this first image also a Captain Ndoye, played by Phumzile Sitole.

Another sequence takes place planet-side (one assumes Earth), with much of the Disco bridge crew very happy to be there.

And the crew are also gathered to welcome Michael Burnham back to the ship:

A clip from this episode, with a very cool look at future Starfleet ships, also features in the latest episode of The Ready Room. The episode otherwise includes discussion with Doug Jones and Mary Wiseman, and a couple of featurettes looking at western aspects and stunts in the previous episode, Far From Home. (You can also watch on StarTrek.com, YouTube, or Facebook if you prefer)

Look at all those ships! This shot along should keep Eaglemoss busy for a year or so!

For more behind the scenes goodness, CBS have released a few behind the scenes photos too, including this delightful double Saru moment:

Additionally, make-up artist Faye Crasto shared this moment of her working with Rachael Ancheril to turn her into Nhan:

There's also some extra story content care of the Star Trek Logs Instagram account, which this week brings us Georgiou's reflections on her encounter with Zareh:

And as usual there are a few post-release stills and clips from the episode too:

As with previous seasons, the series will be found on CBS All Access(ad) in the US, and Bell Media services in Canada, and Netflix in almost all of the rest of the world (barring a few countries where Netflix doesn't work).
