Lower Decks 1x04: Moist Vessel previews, and other series updates

This week will shortly bring us the fourth episode of Lower Decks, Moist Vessel, and ahead of its release CBS have shared lots of promo clips and images. Continue below for a taste of this episode, and all the latest Lower Decks images, video, and art:

First up we have the episode trailer, which as ever has been graciously uploaded to YouTube by NaciĆ³n Trek:

CBS have released loads of images from this episode, hinting at a busy episode for many of the characters:

CBS have also continued their series of character focused trailers, with the latest featuring Boimler and Tendi. Both feature some new footage, but the Tendi one seems to offer more, with lots of clips from her censored black ops mission seen briefly in an earlier trailer:

CBS's now regular behind the scenes featurette releases continue after each episode. Here's the animatics comparison for episode three, Temporal Edict:

And showrunner Mike McMahan's weekly Easter egg discussion:

Following the episode's release, CBS have also released some addition images and clips:

And there's a couple of clips from episode two, Envoys, now doing the rounds too:

CBS have also been releasing some playful social media images. Here's Mariner advertising the USS Cerritos Open Mic Night:

Tendi's latest selfies from moments in the show:

And Rutherford being indecisive about where to serve:

Artists working on the series have regularly been sharing personal artwork too, and the latest example of that is Tendi here, by character designer Michael Maglio:

And finally, here's the weekly T-shirt design from the animation studio Titmouse. Director Barry J. Kelly created the artwork for this week's design, featuring Commander Ransom. Here's how Titmouse pitch it:
Sometimes a ship can run TOO tight, amirite? You know how it is – all work and no “buffer time” makes for a disheveled, sleep-deprived crew. An overabundance of protocols can endanger not only a crew, but also those on low-priority diplomatic away-missions. Behold the stoic battle-stance of Commander Ransom, preparing to engage in an unwanted war against overly-sensitive aliens!

The Titmouse Shirt Collective shirts are only available for a week, until the next episode airs. So you'll have top grab this quick if you want it!

Lower Decks is available on CBS All Access in the USA, and Bell Media channels in Canada. The rest of the world is still awaiting news on if or when we get to see it.
