RockLove launch new Star Trek jewellery line, including screen replica Picard piece

Jewellery designers/makers RockLove have made a triumphant return to the world of Star Trek with the launch of their new Star Trek X collection, which includes a variety of Star Trek alien inspired pieces, and a very special replica item from Picard.

As seen worn by Dahj in the first episode of Picard, the Omega Necklace is perfect screen replica, using the same sculpts as the on-screen prop which was made by RockLove's designer Allison Cimino.

There is a small spoiler for the first episode of Picard in the following description (might not mean much without seeing it to know though), which talks a bit more about the inception of the piece, and it's construction:
RockLove’s designer, CEO, and life-long Star Trek fan, Allison Cimino, was invited (and honored!) to work with Jeffrey Lombardi, the Prop Master of Star Trek: Picard. Created from Jeffrey’s original designs, she translated the renders into physical jewelry items worn by the actors in Season 1.

RockLove’s Star Trek: Picard jewelry utilize the exact same sculpts as those made for the show.

Sculpted in solid sterling silver, as seen on Dahj and Soji in CBS’s new series Star Trek: Picard. The pendant features two interlocking circles that slide along a sterling silver omega necklace. A futuristic chain of rounded and joined plates, the omega holds a rigid circle shape and is meant to lay high at the collar bone. The closure is a near-invisible friction-style tube clasp that enhances the illusion of seamlessness.

Pendant Dimensions = 19mm x 29mm

Omega Size = 16 inch & 18 inch options

Another necklace in this collection features features Vulcan script, saying "kashek" (mind), this is a pair of necklaces, with one having the text cut out and the other in relief, so they mind meld, as it were, when brought together.

Sculpted in solid sterling silver, the Vulcan Mind Meld is a set of two necklaces that represents a telepathic link. KASHEK – the Vulcan word for MIND – is written in Vulcan Calligraphy on each pendant, one cut out and one sculpted in relief. When the two wearers stack the pendants, “melding” each “mind” … they snap together in perfect union.

Each flat rectangular pendant hangs from a sterling silver 20 to 24 inch adjustable curb chain.

Overall Size = 44mm tall (including bail) x 12mm

Chain = 20 to 24 inch adjustable

UPDATE: Here's a little video showing how they link up:

The remaining pieces in this wave of releases are all inspired by the ornate Klingon armour from Discovery, which given it's bejeweled nature seems very appropriate inspiration indeed. The Batlh signet ring seems to follow most directly from the costume, evoking the elaborate neck-piece worn by T'Kuvma.

Sculpted in solid sterling silver, the Klingon Batlh Signet Ring is the larger of the Klingon Ring set. Plated in contrasting black rhodium and hand-painted yellow gold, it features a high domed 15mm red nano crystal cabochon. Inspired by the ornate scale-like textures and regal color scheme of Klingon armor in Star Trek: Discovery.

Sizes = 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - 10

Top Details = 25mm x 17mm (11mm height from top of finger)

Also available is the slightly less ornate Qapla’ signet ring, following the same armoured inspiration on the band:

Sculpted in solid sterling silver, the Klingon Qapla’ Signet Ring is the smaller of the Klingon Ring set. Plated in contrasting black rhodium and hand-painted yellow gold, a smooth red nano crystal cabochon is surrounded by eight faceted accent crystals. Inspired by the ornate scale-like textures and regal color scheme of Klingon armor in Star Trek: Discovery.

Sizes = 7 - 8 - 9 - 10 - 11 - 12 - 13

Top Details = 20mm x 18mm (10mm height from top of finger)

Matching these are a pair of earrings, which sight both the Discovery armour and Worf's ridges as inspirations:

Sculpted in solid sterling silver, the Klingon Earrings are plated in contrasting black rhodium and hand-painted yellow gold, accented by smooth red nano crystal cabochons. Inspired by the ornate scale-like textures and regal color scheme of Klingon armor in Star Trek: Discovery. The earrings’ prominent center ridge is an homage to Lieutenant Commander Worf, son of Mogh, of the House of Martok. Soldered french ear wire.

Weight = 4 grams per earring

Overall Size = 48mm x 17 mm (including ear wires)

And finally there's a new twist on an old favourite, a Klingon trefoil pendant necklace:

If one is not together, one is not honored.

Sculpted in solid sterling silver, the Klingon Necklace is plated in contrasting black rhodium and hand-painted yellow gold. Inspired by the ornate scale-like textures and regal color scheme of Klingon armor in Star Trek: Discovery. The pendant’s prominent center ridge is an homage to Lieutenant Commander Worf, son of Mogh, of the House of Martok. Quote engraved on the reverse, it hangs from a black rhodium plated sterling silver 20 to 24 inch adjustable curb chain.

Overall Size = 45mm tall x 35mm

Chain = 20 to 24 inch adjustable

RockLove are promising "multiple releases throughout the year [spanning] moments and characters across the Star Trek Universe", so we should have many more interesting designs to look forward to.

This is the first new Star Trek collection from RockLove in some years, but they have had several previous waves of releases, starting back in 2014, check out my previous coverage for a look at some of the very innovative earlier designs.
