Another giant USS Enterprise-A model for sale!

Remember that huge model of the USS Enterprise-A that was found in a yard sale in Toronto earlier this year? Well it seems that was just the start of a giant USS Enterprise model invasion, as another has sprung up in Richmond Virginia! This one is 13 feet long and features some nice panel line detailing.

This model was apparently previously on display at King's Dominion, an amusement park, where it sat atop an equally huge Starfleet delta stand, which is also included with the model now.

Alas this Enterprise looks like it's been partly digested by a giant space amoeba; after being kept in a shed, which collapsed on it, and then be left outside for some time, the poor Starship has accumulated a good deal of damage, and some even worst repairs! Whoever picks this up will need to put in a good amount of time in spacedock to bring the ship back to it's former glory.

If you're up for the task, and close enough to pick it up, you can secure the ship now on eBay!

Meanwhile in Toronto, the new owners of the other giant Enterprise have been busy assessing the ship and starting cleaning it up. As you can see in the pictures below, posted on their Enterprise restoration project Facebook page, they've got plenty of work to do on this version of the ship too.

They have ambitious plans to both restore the ship and build it custom transportation to take it on voyages of exploration for great photo ops. To that end they've set up a GoFundMe page to support the project.

I look forward to seeing what the guys in Toronto do, and hopefully we'll hear what happens to the Virginia Enterprise too!
