The latest round of solicitors from Eaglemoss have revealed issue 151 in the main Starships Collection to be a Bomar patrol ship, which should arrive first in the UK (with other markets to follow) in May.
These ships appeared in Voyager's The Raven, and as you can see (thanks to TrekCore's ever useful screencap library), they do look a little jazzier from behind, so hopefully when we get the model it will look a little more exciting than the wedge Eaglemoss have presented in their chosen previews!
Also in the latest solicitations was issue 150, the USS Antares, which completes the series of on-screen Miranda variants (so unless Eaglemoss dig deeper into the DS9 art department files to find some of the models that didn't make it to screen, this will likely be the last Miranda in the series). The solicitors gave us a cover for this issue, but more excitingly the Hero Collector blog released a bunch of new images of the model, and several others coming up.
So also from Hero Collector we've got lots of new views of issue 149, the Krenim warship:
Issue 148 the long awaited Dominion Battleship:
Baran’s raider from TNG's Gambit is issue 147:
Issue 146 is another ship a long time coming, very long as one of the first ever ships seen in Star Trek, the Fesarius from The Corbomite Maneuver.
And then we have the first images of issue 145 (despite having already arrived in the UK), Nightingale, from the Voyager episode of the same name. This is, obviously, a tweaked version of the Federation fighter (on screen that is, it's a completely new model from Eaglemoss), but to give it it's dues, it is quite a nice model at least.
Also already in hand is 144, Gomtuu, the first (and I hope not last, I want starjellys and gormaganders darn it) cosmozoan lifeform in the series. The UK Eaglemoss shop now has listings for this, giving us several new views.
Stepping over to the Discovery Collection for a moment, both the UK and US Eaglemoss webshops have added new images of the first Discovery special, the Klingon Sarcophagus ship. The US listing notes this model is twelve inches long, which I think makes it the biggest Star Trek ship Eaglemoss have done so far! The model looks fantastic, as you can see in the images and video below.
Among the latest solicitations was issue twelve of the Discovery collection, giving us a new image of that new model of the Disco-USS Enterprise:
And Eaglemoss have also released new 360 videos of the Enterprise, as well as the preceding USS Shran, and Klingon Qoj class:
Back with the main series, the next special issue in that run is V'Ger, which also has a bunch of new images and a video, via the US Eaglemoss webshop:
Likewise there's lots of new previews for the recently release USS Bonaventure bonus issue:
And the USS Enterprise-F too:
Eaglemoss have also been updating some of their older listings, with brand new photos and 360 videos of the first five issues (first released way back in 2013!) of the series, the USS Enterprise-D, refit USS Enterprise, Klingon Bird of Prey, Enterprise NX-01, and Romulan warbird:
Finally, Eaglemoss have also revealed the first details of another new book on the way, the forth in their Star Trek Shipyards series, which collects and expands upon the in-universe information from the Starships Collection magazines. This latest volume will focus on the ships of Federation member worlds:
Listings for this seem a little confused to its content, with the above cover now replacing an earlier draft (right) which included Romulan and Xindi ships, and the blurb being used by Publisher Penguin Random House and on Amazon both still referring to these species being included in the book. But maybe the blurb will be updated soon much as the cover has been. It will be interesting to see if the Jellyfish, which was on that earlier cover, makes it into this book, as of course it was a prime timeline ship despite appearing in the Kelvin timeline movies.
Star Trek Shipyards is a series of lavishly illustrated books that provide in-universe profiles of Star Trek ships, building into the ultimate illustrated encyclopedia of Star Trek vessels. Each ship is profiled with all available technical information, operational history and plan view CG renders - wherever possible using the original VFX models that were used on the TV shows and movies.UPDATE: Penguin Random House have also updated their listings with a new cover for the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 and NCC-1701-A Illustrated Handbook, which both incorporates that new more accurate title, and better matches the cover of the preceding USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D Illustrated Handbook:
Federation Members is latest volume in the Star Trek Shipyards series. Features more than 30 ships from the United Federation of Planets and their in-universe history including Romulan, Bajoran, Xindi, Tellarite, Andorian, Medusan, and Vulcan ships.
Each ship is illustrated in CG artwork, including original VFX models made for the TV show, alongside a technical overview and operational history. Chapters include size charts, showing the ships to scale. An index lists ships, commanders and classes.
