StarTrek.com have run a report on the props and prosthetics of Discovery. I don't think it tells us a lot new, although there are some nice little stories about the alien make-up work - Such as noting a jigsaw-like finish to the Discovery's robot crew-member Airiam. It does include a nice beauty shot of the Klingon disruptor:
Ted Sullivan, writer/producer, has released a few more behind the scenes photos, the latest batch all focused on the Shenzhou:
Finally, an entertaining tweet which also gives us a really nice look at T'Rell's make-up: Actress Mary Chieffo posted this photo of her eating an Emmy award, belong to Discovery make-up artist James Mackinnon (won for his work on American Horror Story):
Star Trek: Discovery is due to start this September, and it will be distributed almost everywhere in the world on Netflix, except for the US where is will be available on CBS All Access, and Canada where it will be on Bell Media channels and services.
