First Discovery clip, new stills, and more

The first clip from Discovery has been released, via Late Night With Stephen Colbert, which also had Sonequa Martin-Green (aka Michael Burnham) on as a guest. You can see the clip and interview in the following video:

The impression I get from that clip is that Burnham doesn't know the "unknown object" she is sent to explore is even Klingon until she meets the Klingon upon it! Not too long to wait and see now!

CBS have also released a whole load of new images today:

Finally, StarTrek.com recently posted another interview, this time with Kenneth Mitchell (aka Kol). He gave nice account of how Kol, of the house of Kor, gets involved in the story surrounding the house of T'Kuvma:
Well, he's… the leader. You first meet him in holograph form, and he's kind of an alpha Klingon amongst the house leaders, amongst the 24 house leaders. He has these disagreements and conflicts with T'Kuvma and his house, and it kind of launches that relationship throughout the rest of the season. Kol is on a bit of a path to power, and he also wants to protect his people, not only amongst the Klingon houses, but also amongst the Federation. I just really kind of clinged on to that.
Star Trek: Discovery is due to start this September, and it will be distributed almost everywhere in the world on Netflix, except for the US where is will be available on CBS All Access, and Canada where it will be on Bell Media channels and services.
