Here are the new covers, which will be turning up, translated into German, in the winter of 2015/1016. So far Cross Cult have only settled on the German title for one book in the series, The Crimson Shadow, the first of the two cover here, which will be known as Der Karminrote Schatten:
Continue after the jump for the latest new Corps of Engineers artwork, and lots more finalised covers for new Cross Cult releases:
Cross Cult are releasing Corps of Engineers ebooks every month now, and have posted new artwork for six of those novellas since my last update (skipping a couple of books as they've release the art so far, so there are more to come to fill in the gaps). Only the first two of these are actually on Cross Cult's schedule at the moment, for release next year, but I would expect the series to continue in the monthly release pattern. Pictured are:
- #9 The Riddled Post, by Aaron Rosenberg (March 2015)
- #10 Achtung, Monster! (Here There Be Monsters), by Keith R.A. DeCandido (April 2015)
- #11 Ambush, by Dave Galanter and Greg Brodeur
- #12 Some Assembly Required, by Scott Ciencin and Dan Jolley
- #14 Caveat Emptor, by Ian Edginton and Mike Collins
- #16 Oaths, by Glenn Hauman
Cross Cult have also released the finalised covers for numerous other books. Here are the latest novels:
- Projekt Full Circle (Full Circle), by Kirsten Beyer (October 2014)
- Menschsein (Being Human), by Peter David (November 2014)
- Die Eugenischen Kriege: Der Aufstieg und Fall des Khan Noonien Singh I and II (The Eugenics Wars: The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volumes One and Two), by Greg Cox (December 2014 and January 2015)
- Der Romulanische Krieg: Die dem Sturm Trotzen (The Romulan War: To Brave the Storm), by Michael A. Martin (February 2015)
- Die Glückmaschine (The Joy Machine), by James Gunn and Theodore Sturgeon (February 2015)
Plus more COE books, this time in their final form:
- #5 Interphase 2 (Interphase, Part 2) by Dayton Ward and Kevin Dilmore (November 2014)
- #6 Kalte Fusion (Cold Fusion), by Keith R.A. DeCandido (December 2014)
- #7-8 Unbesiegbar 1 and 2 (Invincible Books 1 and 2), by Keith R.A. DeCandido and David Mack (January and February 2015)
Aside from all the new covers, Cross Cult have also added some more books to their schedule. They've got plans well into 2016 already, and the newest additions are:
- The Light Fantastic, by Jeffrey Lang (June 2016)
- No Limits, by Peter David and co. (July 2016)
I wish we would get some more artistic renderings on the US covers. Photoshopped characters are leaving me bored, and the CG ships are cool but can get overplayed.
