New Cross Cult covers: The Fall, COE, and more

It's been a while since I posted any updates from German Star Trek books publisher Cross Cult, and since my last post their cover artist, Martin Frei, has been busy generating new artwork for many of their forthcoming releases. The most recently revealed new artwork (on their Star Trek books Facebook page) is for two books in The Fall series. Cross Cult will be reusing the US cover art for three of the five books, but they have decided to replace both of the Enterprise-E covers - Una McCormack's The Crimson Shadow, and Dayton Ward's Peaceable Kingdoms.

Here are the new covers, which will be turning up, translated into German, in the winter of 2015/1016. So far Cross Cult have only settled on the German title for one book in the series, The Crimson Shadow, the first of the two cover here, which will be known as Der Karminrote Schatten:

Cross Cult are releasing Corps of Engineers ebooks every month now, and have posted new artwork for six of those novellas since my last update (skipping a couple of books as they've release the art so far, so there are more to come to fill in the gaps). Only the first two of these are actually on Cross Cult's schedule at the moment, for release next year, but I would expect the series to continue in the monthly release pattern. Pictured are:

Aside from all the new covers, Cross Cult have also added some more books to their schedule. They've got plans well into 2016 already, and the newest additions are:

• No Limits, by Peter David and co. (July 2016)

Finally, Jens Deffner (of UnrealitySF), who often keeps me up to date on Cross Cult's latest endeavours, informs me Cross Cult have recently made a new multi-year agreement with CBS, which gives them rights to produce German edition of all new Star Trek novels, rather than having to negotiate each book or series as they desire them. Apparently this doesn't extend back to cover all historical releases though.
