Update on the Starship Collection magazine

In January we got the disappointing news that Star Trek: The Official Starship Collection, the new model starship magazine collection which was due to start in February, had been delayed due to issues with the factory the models were going to be made in. Today Eaglemoss have posted on the magazine's Facebook page, with a little update on the status of the series:

Sorry about the lack of news, but we have not been shirking! We have just received more samples from our new factory, and are doing more quality checks before confirming the schedule.

We're aiming for launch in 5-6 month's time and will let you all know launch date as soon as we know!

So a little waiting still to go, but it looks like our mini fleet is still coming! The magazine was planned to launch in the UK and Ireland, but it sounds like demand from the US is being heard, responding to a user comment on Facebook Eaglemoss noted:

...no subscriptions in the US yet, but we'll let you know if we can organise this later in the year. US pricing to follow when we have a firm launch date.
