TrekCore have revealed the artwork for the second season of
Star Trek: Enterprise on
bluray. They've used another cast shot (this time getting the whole gang in), and changed the previous background pattern to blue:

A bit like this for Season Four? |
I was quite curious to see what they would do next with these, after the excellent image choice on the
first season set. I remain even more curious what they'll do for the next two sets; as you can see in
TrekCore's excellent publicity photo gallery, the remaining cast shots might be a bit tricky to use in this style (as they mostly have the crew interacting with the set in some way). I'd love to see the covers get a bit more exotic for the last two seasons: Maybe Archer flanked by a member of each Xindi race for season three? And even better for season four some sort of birth of the Federation thing, with Shran, Soval and a Tellarite (a little like the cover for
The Romulan War: Beneath the Raptor's Wing maybe). I expect we'll actually just get more of the main cast, but one can dream!
Amazon have also posted covers for the stand-alone releases of
The Motion Picture,
The Search For Spock,
The Final Frontier,
Generations,
Insurrection, and
Nemesis. Thankfully for anyone that collected the
individual releases of the other (better?) films a few years ago, Paramount have been kind enough to maintain design continuity with these new ones:
