Paramount Home Entertainment have announced the seven seasons of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine will be re-released on (region 2) DVD at the end of the month. The new sets will contain the same episodes and extras just in new slimpack cases with a lower rrp.
At £34.99 these will be more than half the original £84.99 releases, and as ever if you shop around you'll likely find them a good deal cheaper, last years TNG slimline releases can now be got for less than £20 a season. One imagines Voyager, TOS andEnterprise will all also be re-released in these cheaper sets in the years to come, and of course TOS and Enterprise should make there way onto at least one of the new HD-DVD formats.
