I'm really sad it's TOS up until June. Waiting at least six months for them to continue the post Borg-war timeline is going to kill me! :-(
I share your pain. Much as I want to be super excited about others eras, my heart lies in the 24th century.
I'm with you guys! I really don't like Pocket Books adding so many TOS titles to the schedule and all following each other. Including the novelization that would be six slots taken up in 2013. I grew up on TOS and love the series but I have found most of the TOS books published to be rather boring. I much prefer the 24th century ear books more. I understand their wanting to take advantage of the movie release but three titles would have been more than sufficient. July seems like a long way to have to get through. At least the end of this year is looking up!

Well, the novelization won't really take up a slot, it's on top of the usual monthly release schedule, like any other hardcover or trade paperback. I'm keen to get those lost new timeline books back on the schedule too, and would be much more interested in those than TOS-prime. But at the same time if they started to fill up slots we really would be facing Kirk/Spock overloading!
About a year after the first movie reboot they were supposed to release a whole bunch of TOS books but those were eventually cancelled. Could all these TOS books coming up be those?
I'm so glad they're at least releasing a TNG enovel in March!

What no Voyager books for the entire year?! I want to know what happens after the disastrous return to the Delta Quadrant.
And yes more TNG books would be nice just got done with the Cold Equations trilogy and I need more post Borg TNG, not more boring TOS books.
I'd just like to make a comment and you don't have to agree with me but it's been bugging me and so I have to say it.
I liked the site more when it was focused and didn't advertise all the Trekkie junk. When you posted about the book releases, comics and DVDs it was a lot better than it is now. I think if you really feel a need to post about all the so-called memorabilia (most of it is just gosh awful crap second rate crap) then perhaps you could make separate lists just for books and comics. Scrolling through all that crap is a real drag anytime you need to check and see what the latest book release is going to be.
Let me add that I do appreciate your site and come here often but it's just so cluttered now that it's no longer enjoyable.

I'm sorry to hear you're finding the site less enjoyable Ktrek. Although obviously I do disagree or I wouldn't be covering everything as I do. The site has always aimed to cover all things Star Trek (and poke fun at the weirder nonsense they come up with!), although I admit I'm probably endeavouring to be more comprehensive than before lately. My aim has always been to catch the Star Trek "stuff" that other Trek-news sites mostly ignore, be that Star Trek novels or Star Trek coffins!
Books are still my personal favourite area, so I feel I still give them a lot of attention, and priority over other stuff.
On the schedule pages everything is now sortable using the buttons at the top - It took me a very long time to figure out how to do that, and I wasn't willing to list other stuff on this page until I could - So you can chose to only see listings from prose, comics, books, etc. On the site in general all the articles are also tagged with categories, so it's possible to browse for certain things you're interested in there too.
I don't know why I never noticed the sorting buttons before but that helps a lot. Thanks!

I've often wondered if anyone notices/uses the buttons. As you're right, there's a heck of a lot of scrolling to do on this page otherwise! Maybe I should make them red, or flashing... Or red AND flashing...
