Continue after the jump for more updates from The Collection:
Over on The Collection's Facebook page, a new image of the USS Pasteur model, issue forty-two, has been released:
And, also from Facebook, a new image of issue forty-three's Species 8472 bioship:
Meanwhile posted to the Facebook page, by fellow collector Dennis Mosselmans posted this image from the promotional information included with issues of the The Collection which just recently launched in Germany. Here we see new images of the shuttlecraft models, which are being offered to subscribers who choose a premium subscription.
So far this option is only being offered to new subscribers in Germany and France. Reader Matthew Roscoe posted the response he got from Eaglemoss customer service when he asked, as a comment in my previous report on the shuttles:
For the moment these are only going to be available for the new EU subscriptions just launched. Unfortunately we haven't been given much information on them at all yet, and we're not even sure which ones they'll be exactly. However we do believe these will be offered in the future, possibly for purchase but again nothing has been confirmed yet.And finally something even more limited. Also posted on The Collection's Facebook page, by Alex Davis, the winner of one of the competitions a while ago which got him a custom-named model ship - Very cool! And he was also sent a bonus prototype model, of the forthcoming Klingon Raptor!
We would make subscribers aware on this in the future if they're to be offered to any other subscriptions.
For a listing of all the ships in the Starships Collection, including links to all my previous previews and reviews, see my index page.
